What is Remote Support?
Remote support means that we can take control of your computer desktop or laptop to troubleshoot just as if we were sitting in front of it. Communication can be through a two-way chat or by phone.
We offer remote support for the following services:
-Computer diagnostics and repairs
-General training and operating system usage
If for any reason we are unable to help you remotely (as we have to be physically work on the computer), you will receive a pro-rated discount (for the price of the session) on the equivalent in-house service, or when you bring the computer into our office. Pickups of computer(s) are available on an as-needed basis.
How does it work?
1) Schedule a time
Contact us to schedule a time you are free to be in front of your computer.
Payment (in the form of Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover) will be taken before the session is started. Prices will be based on our residential or business rates:
- Residential: $100/first hour, $65/hour thereafter (one hour minimum; billed in ½ hour increments after)
- Business: $100/first hour, $75/hour thereafter (one hour minimum; billed in ½ hour increments after)
We will walk you through some simple steps to allow us to establish communication with your computer. Software is needed to download and remotely connect. For security and legal reasons, we will not connect automatically to your computer without your permission.
3) Sit back and relax while we go to work!
We will remotely take control of your computer desktop just as if we were sitting at your computer. Communication with you can be through a two-way chat session or by phone.
